Engineering Manager, Control Plane – Distributed Transactional Database

This role is remote eligible within the United States.

Compensation:

$204,000 — $255,000 USD

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to build software for database operations including deployment and scaling.
• Define and execute a vision and roadmap for the control plane area.
• Attract and mentor top talent while managing their promotions and careers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of engineering management experience and 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with distributed databases and public cloud providers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams.

Tech stack:

Open-source NewSql database, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure.
