Senior Backend Software Engineer, Media Ingestion & Serving

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites.

Compensation:

$191,000 — $223,000 USD per year

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and data pipelines for media processing.
• Build capabilities for ML/AI analysis on media assets.
• Optimize performance and reliability of media infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Experience with media-related technologies.
