This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
Compensation:
$191,000 — $223,000 USD per year
Responsibilities:
- Design solutions, build, and launch for pricing and availability flows
- Provide critical input in team roadmap and technical direction
- Build efficient and backend solutions that are reliable, performant and scalable
- Nurture a culture of happy healthy teams including supportive feedback, technical quality, and having fun
- Collaborate with internal teams across various functions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience
- Expertise in backend systems within large-scale service-oriented architectures
- Strong programming skills in Scala, Python, Java, C++ or equivalent
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for efficiency, availability, system quality and user experience
