Senior Software Engineer, Search Input

This role is remote-eligible within the United States.

Compensation:

$191,000 — $223,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Develop new product features for Airbnb’s search and high-traffic surfaces.
• Collaborate with design, product, and data science teams to bring features from design to production.
• Prototype new features and iterate based on feedback.
• Advise stakeholders on technical scope and feasibility.
• Mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend/full-stack development.
• Experience with Java and/or Kotlin in a microservice architecture.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
