Staff Data Scientist, Marketplace

This position is US - Remote Eligible, with occasional work at an Airbnb office.

Compensation:

$194,000 — $240,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Build data products and inference frameworks to drive marketplace growth.
• Develop models to forecast marketplace metrics and quantify supply-demand impacts.
• Mentor other data scientists and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of industry experience with a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with causal inference and machine learning techniques.
