Data Engineer, ShipTech Analytics

This role is based in Hyderabad, TS, India.

Responsibilities:

- Design and build scalable near-real-time (NRT) streaming and batch data pipelines supporting Amazon's global transportation network.

- Build data products and tools that streamline the complete data lifecycle.

- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver datasets that enable informed decision-making.

- Own data quality and implement enhancements for operational excellence.

- Collaborate with teams to standardize analytics capabilities and build AI-powered automation.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL and at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Scala, NodeJS)
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis
• Knowledge of batch and streaming data architectures like Kafka, Kinesis
