This position is based in London, GBR.
Responsibilities:
- Work proactively to solve potential problems and inefficiencies.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to troubleshoot high severity issues.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for documentation.
- Discuss new approaches to automate operational issues and develop creative solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Experience in Linux systems administration and/or development.
- Experience working in a 24/7 production environment.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, or Bash/Shell.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of configuration management systems like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or DevOps.
- Experience in network capture and systems troubleshooting.
