Description
Amazon Ads is seeking a full-stack Software Development Engineer to join the Reach Extension team in Edinburgh, Scotland. The team builds innovative advertising products that help advertisers reach and engage millions of Amazon customers across every stage of their journey. We’re looking for engineers with an interest in front-end development using React and TypeScript, as well as those passionate about building highly scalable backend services with Kotlin and AWS, leveraging advanced technologies such as generative AI and machine learning.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers- Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations- Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution
