This role is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Compensation:
135,700.00 - 226,500.00 CAD annually
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and operate data processing systems using AWS services like Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, and Lambda.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Continuously optimize data pipeline performance and mentor junior engineers.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Scala, NodeJS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
- Experience operating large data warehouses
