Sr. Security Engineer, Amazon Stores Security AppSec

This role is based in London, GBR.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain threat models for software projects.
• Conduct manual and automated secure code reviews, primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Develop security automation tools and provide security architecture guidance.
• Influence team processes and priorities to improve security outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in scripting, programming, and security code reviewing.
• Experience in troubleshooting systems issues and analyzing logs.
• Experience in identifying security issues and developing mitigation plans.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with threat modeling and security in microservices.
