Systems Engineer/DevOps Eng, ESC Managed Operations

This role is based in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud in 2025, collaborate with global AWS teams, and enhance the operational health of AWS services.

Requirements:

• Fluency in written and spoken English
• National of an EU member state
• Experience in systems engineering and automation
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
• Solid understanding of Linux and networking

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring frameworks (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CDK, CloudFormation)
• Experience operating high-availability software applications
