This role is based in Berlin, Germany.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud in 2025, collaborate with global AWS teams, and enhance AWS services and technology.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English; EU member state national residing in the EU.
- Expertise in systems engineering with hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
- Experience scripting in languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Solid understanding of Linux and networking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with monitoring frameworks (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading strategic team efforts.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CDK, CloudFormation).
