Backend Engineer, QoS Apple Services Engineering

This position is based in San Diego, California.

Compensation:

$139,500 - $210,100/year

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and scale backend services and real-time data pipelines.
• Build tools for monitoring service health across Apple's cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to provide observability for new business lines.
• Mentor other engineers and foster a collaborative team culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with backend services and APIs (Java, Scala, Kotlin, Go, Python, Swift).
• Proficiency in building cloud-native, distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of data systems and observability practices.
