Cellular Power Optimization Engineering Manager

This role is based in San Diego, California.

Compensation:

$188,200 - $325,500 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering resources to meet Apple’s power targets for cellular products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve power and thermal targets.
  • Analyze modem logs for power analysis and debugging.
  • Define SoC cellular test cases for various technologies.
  • Debug and analyze complex embedded system-level issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in modem power management system/SW architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a Software Engineering team.
  • Experience with Linux, macOS systems, and command-line tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong expertise in modem power management drivers.
  • Hands-on experience in debugging modem products.
  • Excellent communication skills.
