This role is based in Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and verify Cellular Layer 1 control software/firmware for a 5G/6G mobile wireless communications system.
  • Develop key scheduling and control algorithms, optimizing code for cycle, latency, and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with global teams to optimize solutions.
  • Define interfaces with RF, physical layer, MAC/RRC, and other required subsystems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences or related major.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and core computer science fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming and strong analysis/debugging skills.
  • Hands-on experience in wireless/cellular software or firmware development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master/PhD degree in relevant fields.
  • Knowledge of 3GPP 5G/4G Layer 1 Control.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
