This role is based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Compensation:

$94,500 - $174,200 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement firmware observability systems including structured logging and metrics collection.
  • Collaborate with various teams to surface actionable telemetry from embedded environments.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to identify high-value telemetry signals.
  • Maintain rigorous coding and testing practices across different firmware environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in developing software for embedded systems.
  • Proficient in C/C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with instrumentation frameworks and low-level systems.
  • Familiarity with hardware debugging and real-time operating systems.
