This role is based in Cupertino, California.

Compensation:

$141,800 - $258,600/year

What you'll do:

• Build data products and tools in Python or Scala to support decision-making.
• Create and validate metrics to measure user engagement.
• Design experiments for evaluating data and machine learning systems.
• Develop models to extract insights from large datasets.
• Automate analyses and pipelines using SQL and Python/Scala.
• Communicate insights to influence product direction.
• Explore ML and GenAI techniques for Maps-related problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS/PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Spark/Pyspark and AB testing.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS.
• Knowledge of the mapping/GIS industry.
