This role is based in Cork, Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Build applications and real-time dashboards to monitor the quality of Apple Services.
  • Design, build and operate tools and processes to detect, react to, and mitigate production issues.
  • Execute incident command and coordination across ASE teams.
  • Network to influence and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Create and deliver presentations across teams and to senior leadership.
  • Participate in rotating on-call shifts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with distributed systems and delivering internet services at scale.
  • Programming experience in languages such as Golang, Java, JavaScript, Python, Swift.
  • Experience with monitoring technologies like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of core internet protocols such as CDN, DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • In-depth industry experience.
