This role is based in Cork, Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Build applications and real-time dashboards to monitor the quality of Apple Services.
- Design, build and operate tools and processes to detect, react to, and mitigate production issues.
- Execute incident command and coordination across ASE teams.
- Network to influence and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Create and deliver presentations across teams and to senior leadership.
- Participate in rotating on-call shifts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with distributed systems and delivering internet services at scale.
- Programming experience in languages such as Golang, Java, JavaScript, Python, Swift.
- Experience with monitoring technologies like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of core internet protocols such as CDN, DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- In-depth industry experience.
