Platform Quality Assurance Engineer in Core OS

This role is based in Beaverton, Oregon.

Responsibilities:

• Curate and run thorough test plans that defend code quality at the core of new Apple Silicon.
• Drive debugging and troubleshooting efforts with cross-functional partners to root cause uncovered bugs.
• Lead QA efforts supporting new features across a wide range of technology areas with other quality teams in software and hardware organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to distill complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills to present technical findings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Python programming and test automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous exposure to hardware bring-up and testing on early prototype devices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and cross-functional environment.
• Proficient in source code tracking software such as git.
