Senior Backend Software Engineer (Security, Reliability)

This role is based in Cupertino, California.

Compensation:

$181,100 - $272,100 per year

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable account systems including RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions.
• Triage and debug customer-impacting issues.
• Modernize legacy systems with new technologies.
• Mentor teammates to build a high-performing engineering team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with security protocols like OAuth2 and JWT.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Proficiency with observability tooling.
