Senior Data Engineer

This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

Compensation:

$181,100 - $272,100/year

Responsibilities:

Design and implement core stream-processing and batch-processing capabilities, support privacy-preserving critical pipelines, and collaborate with a team of data engineers to deliver data products.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles, ideally in the ads or media space
• Strong understanding of scalable data processing technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra)
• Proficiency with modern programming languages (e.g., Java/Scala/C++)
• Experience building and scaling systems on premise and in the cloud

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Prior experience in the advertising industry is a plus
