Compensation:

$181,100 - $272,100/year

Summary:

The Environment and Supply Chain Innovation (ESCI) team seeks an experienced Elixir engineer to build applications that support labor and human rights standards and Apple's goal to be carbon neutral by 2030.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Elixir applications leveraging Phoenix/Liveview.
  • Lead technical initiatives from conception through deployment, ensuring high code quality and system reliability.
  • Mentor and guide engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting Elixir best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Effectively communicate technical solutions and strategies to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years of production Elixir/OTP experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Phoenix framework, LiveView, and Ecto.
  • Experience with databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical teams.
  • Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineering teams.
