Software Data Engineer

This role is based in Seattle, Washington.

Compensation:

$139,500 - $258,100 per year

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs.
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines using distributed computing frameworks.
• Implement systems for monitoring dataset health and enforcing quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in building data applications.
• Strong programming experience in Java.
• Experience with distributed data technologies such as Apache Spark.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Scala, Go, or Python.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
