This role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Compensation:

$150,700 - $285,000/year

Responsibilities:

  • Build and ship features for managing beta versions of apps.
  • Design and implement reliable pipelines for beta tester feedback.
  • Deploy customer-facing features globally.
  • Maintain system architecture across multiple code bases.
  • Create efficient data models for distributed data stores.
  • Monitor and improve operational health.
  • Share knowledge with team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in scalable backend applications.
  • Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
  • Ability to produce maintainable, testable code.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NoSQL and relational databases.
  • Understanding of HTTP and REST APIs.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools.
