This role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Compensation:
$150,700 - $285,000/year
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship features for managing beta versions of apps.
- Design and implement reliable pipelines for beta tester feedback.
- Deploy customer-facing features globally.
- Maintain system architecture across multiple code bases.
- Create efficient data models for distributed data stores.
- Monitor and improve operational health.
- Share knowledge with team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in scalable backend applications.
- Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
- Ability to produce maintainable, testable code.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NoSQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of HTTP and REST APIs.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools.
