This role is based in Austin, Texas.

What you'll do:

  • Design, develop, and execute system-level stability and stress tests across Apple platforms.
  • Write and maintain automated hardware-centric software tests.
  • Identify, reproduce, isolate, and debug issues using performance analysis tools.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to define test strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware/software test engineering.
  • Knowledge of processor instruction set architecture and microarchitecture.
  • Experience with Unix-based operating systems and shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in a relevant field.
  • Experience with automation frameworks and UI automation tests.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for test development.
