Staff Data Engineer

This role is based in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer efficient, adaptable, and scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Own and evolve rich datasets for security posture use cases.
• Build data solutions that integrate with existing systems.
• Deliver data frameworks that improve service delivery.
• Participate in code and security reviews.
• Research and prototype new ideas for the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with Spark and distributed data technologies.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Deep expertise in Data Principles, Architecture, and Modeling.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Familiar with AWS cloud resources.
• Understanding of networking and OSI model.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience with stream-processing applications.
• Experience with search systems and NoSQL datastores.
• Experience building distributed, high-volume data services.
