Compensation:

$171,600 - $258,100/year

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytics insights to support decision-making for business and creative teams working on Apple’s Video products, including Apple TV+.
  • Inform our understanding of how users find and engage with content and our subscription services.
  • Help define Engineering & BI requirements for new datasets and data products to support new feature and content releases.
  • Collaborate with other data scientists supporting subscription and marketing initiatives.
  • Build machine learning models to predict business outcomes.
  • Work closely with TV+ and Sports leads to advise their roadmap and content strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4 years experience extracting insights from large datasets, specifically employing programming languages like Python and SQL.
  • 4 years experience employing statistical methods to tackle business problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply data science techniques to find answers to ambiguous real-world questions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in media or entertainment industry.
  • Passion for film, television, and/or Sports domains.
  • Hands-on experience with app-based engagement and clickstream data.
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark.
