Summary:

The Xcode team is seeking a senior Systems Engineer to enhance performance across Apple’s developer tools, impacting millions of developers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Review performance metric trends
  • Investigate logs/traces to identify bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions
  • Prototype fixes showcasing performance improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6+ years of industry experience
  • Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
  • Experience in systems engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data analytics platforms
  • Performance analysis and optimization experience
  • Familiarity with performance profiling tools
