About the Role:
We’re looking for an engineering manager to manage a team of ~7 engineers focused on improving the performance of Canva's editing tools.
Responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor, and grow a team of engineers.
- Collaborate with the technical lead to solve ambitious technical problems.
- Work closely with the Product Manager on the product roadmap.
- Drive planning and alignment of seasonal goals.
- Foster collaboration and advocate for engineering needs.
- Lead cross-team initiatives from ideation to completion.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in technical leadership or mentorship.
- Commercial experience in software development.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
