Engineering Manager - Identity & Access (Open To Remote Across ANZ)

This role is based in Canberra, ACT, Australia with remote work options available.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of software engineers designing authentication and authorization systems.
• Own the strategy for identity and access, balancing security and compliance.
• Coach and develop engineers, providing feedback for personal growth.
• Oversee development methodologies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with partner groups to build scalable systems.
• Drive internal adoption of security systems.

Required Experience:

• Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies (SAML, OIDC, OAuth).
• Experience with programming languages like Golang, Python, or Java.
• Ability to design and build platform features end-to-end.

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with policy-as-code methodologies and infrastructure tools.
• Experience with CI/CD systems.
• Understanding of audit and compliance frameworks.
