This role is based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia, with remote options available across ANZ.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of software engineers designing authentication and authorization systems.
  • Own the strategy for identity and access, balancing security and developer experience.
  • Coach and develop engineers through regular feedback.
  • Oversee the team’s development methodology, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams to build scalable systems.

Required Experience:

  • Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies (e.g., SAML, OAuth).
  • Experience with programming languages such as Golang, Python, or Java.
  • Ability to design and build platform features end-to-end.

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with policy-as-code methodologies and infrastructure tools like Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems and compliance frameworks.
