This role is based in London, United Kingdom with hybrid work options available.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with designers and product managers to scope out new features and technical requirements.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to future-proof features.
  • Participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer.
  • Coach, lead, and mentor your team to achieve their goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and participate in hiring processes.
  • Foster a positive work environment promoting collaboration and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Experience in crafting high-performance commercial software in Ruby or Typescript/Node.js.
  • Strong foundation in computer science and engineering fundamentals.
  • Several years of people management experience.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical discussions.
  • Experience with AI-enabled development practices.

Tech stack:

Ruby on Rails, React, MySQL, Redis, S3.
