Principal Front-End Engineer - Web Platform

This role is based in Sydney, Australia.

What you'll do:

• Own the technical direction for the web platform, including server-side rendering and React Server Components.
• Drive performance improvements aiming for sub-two-second first page load times.
• Influence frontend engineering practices across the organization.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in coding and architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of React and its internals.
• Experience with performance measurement and optimization at scale.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction in a collaborative environment.
• Active individual contributor with a strong coding background.

Technical knowledge:

• Fluency in TypeScript and experience with SSR and RSC.
• Knowledge of frontend-backend communication and performance measurement strategies.
