Senior Engineering Manager - Detection & Response

This role is based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia.

What you'll do:

Set and deliver the strategy for the DFIR team, lead security engineers, and evolve Canva’s Security Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the evolution of security operations and incident response capabilities.
• Evaluate complex security challenges and guide the development of scalable solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders during high-severity incidents.

What we're looking for:

• Significant experience in Detection & Response or Security Operations in cloud environments.
• Strong executive communication skills.
• A proactive, systems-thinking mindset.
