This role is based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia with onsite work.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and operate a network spanning multiple infrastructure providers globally.
  • Build software for infrastructure automation.
  • Drive operational excellence and be on-call for the team’s products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Security, Product, and other Platform teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in software and networking engineering with Golang, Python, or Java.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, Linux networking, and cloud networking (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with deploying networks in cloud or data center environments.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation systems and declarative configuration.

About the Team:

The Networking team is responsible for building Canva’s core network to connect services across infrastructure providers, enabling engineers to develop global services.
