Video Content Creator (6 month contract)

This role is based in London, England, and is a full-time, 6-month contract position.

Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit high-quality, platform-native short-form videos for TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and other growth marketing channels.
  • Plan and execute shoots end-to-end — from ideation, storyboarding, and scripting to lighting, audio, and framing.
  • Collaborate with the growth creative squad and cross-functional marketing team to translate local insights into high-performing creative.
  • Optimise content for brand consistency, platform best practices, and both awareness and conversion goals.
  • Keep on top of emerging trends, formats, and platform features.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record creating high-performing short-form videos for TikTok, Meta, and YouTube.
  • Expert videography skills; confident in camera operation, lighting, audio, and shot composition.
  • Strong editing skills and open to using different software including Canva Video.
  • Ability to turn local market insights and trends into content that resonates with target audiences.

About the team:

You will work closely with the local UK team and the global social media team, contributing to Canva's mission to empower users everywhere to design.
