This role is based in Mountain View, CA.
Compensation:
$141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software solutions on Android in Kotlin and Java.
- Work with REST APIs and Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs).
- Run A/B tests and analyze metrics.
- Collaborate with other Google and Fi product teams to scope and launch new services and features.
- Troubleshoot and debug user and partner issues.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with Android application development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Experience with wireless networking.
- Experience in backend servers with standard Google backend infrastructure.
- Passion for learning new technologies and exploring new domains.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
