In this role, you will be responsible for driving brand preference, trust, and appreciation by celebrating educators during critical milestones throughout the academic year. You will lead cross-company marketing strategies for key cultural moments, manage high-profile strategic partnerships with global educational leadership organizations, and craft cohesive, authentic narratives that speak directly to the unique realities of K-12 and Higher Education professionals.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or community/partnership management.
- Experience managing external partner relationships or influencer programs.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns or event activations tied to specific cultural moments or seasonal milestones.
- Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across complex matrix organizations to align stakeholders toward a unified brand narrative.
- Passion for education, edtech, or supporting the global teaching community.
- Excellent storytelling, copy-writing, and messaging framework development skills, with the ability to translate complex technology into human-centric narratives.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end strategy, campaign development, and execution for major educator milestones, including AI Literacy Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, World Teachers' Day, and Back to School.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with global educational leadership organizations, scale brand reach, and build long-term credibility.
- Act as the primary Google point-of-contact for the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) and National Teacher of the Year (NTOY) program; design and execute the annual rhythm of business, including hosting acclaimed educators in February and leading Washington week activations.
- Serve as the central contact for educator influencer and partner relationships, while continuously exploring, evaluating, and onboarding net-new partnership opportunities that align with Google's AI Learning ecosystem.
- Craft authentic educator narratives and messaging frameworks for K-12 and Higher Education segments that resonate with teachers' professional challenges, classroom realities, and aspirations.
