Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a talented team of 8 engineers, shaping each individual’s career growth, and fostering high-performance culture.
  • Define and execute Dataflow Streaming strategy and roadmap for Seattle team in partnership with other Dataflow leads and cross-functional partners (e.g., PMs, SREs).
  • Lead the design and development of a scalable, reliable streaming platform. Ensure Dataflow is seamlessly integrated with key products like BigQuery, GCS, Pub/Sub, and Kafka.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and build an understanding of Dataflow’s Streaming internals to effectively mentor executive engineers and drive architectural choices.
