Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of software engineers, driving their technical development and career growth.
  • Define the technical strategy and architecture for scalability and robustness.
  • Ensure reliability and performance for core messaging functionality.
  • Provide technical leadership through design documents and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to advance messaging technologies.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years in a people management role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with mobile application or Android framework development.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin programming.
