Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Discover and implement new optimization techniques to drive fleet-wide efficiency.
  • Deliver end-to-end impact across various resource types, including TPUs, RAM, Spindles, and GCU.
  • Lead research into AI-driven optimization strategies.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with Google-wide efficiency teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and collaborate effectively with tech leads and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
  • 3 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a structured organization.
