Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team responsible for delivering system software for servers into Google data centers.
  • Set and communicate team priorities that align with organizational goals.
  • Develop mid-term technical direction and roadmap within your team.
  • Review code developed by other engineers to ensure best practices.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems and programming in C/C++.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of Data Center Architecture and Test Automation.
