This role is based in Irvine, CA, USA.

Compensation:

$132,000 - $190,000/year + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage AI tools to reimagine existing support journeys, prototype, and ship groundbreaking products.
  • Deliver high-quality, holistic designs that balance user and business needs from concept to execution.
  • Communicate user experiences at various stages using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
  • Push creativity and develop new approaches to complex design problems while ensuring alignment with Google-wide standards.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience building interactive prototypes, working demos, and future concepts.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leveraging AI to innovate and drive cross-functional collaboration and cohesion.
  • Experience designing for accessibility and across various form factors.
  • Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch using a user-centered design process.
