This role is based in New York, NY, or Ann Arbor, MI.

Compensation:

$205,000-$288,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a global strategy to build partnerships with key faculty and university research groups.
  • Implement a high-touch engagement model for PhD candidates.
  • Align PhD hiring strategy with Google's product and research strategies.
  • Build and mentor a specialized team focused on PhD hiring and engagement.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in talent acquisition or related fields.
  • 5 years of experience leading global teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in niche recruiting for PhDs or similar roles.
  • Familiarity with research trends in AI, Machine Learning, and Quantum Computing.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders using data.
