Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager on the AI Transformation Upskilling team, you will help build the "Nerve Center" for Google's next-generation, intent-driven AI Transformation products. You will play a vital role in re-imagining the operating system for delivering in-the-flow learning that is hyper-personalized and upskills Googlers at scale.

In this role, you will lead and help execute the development of specialized AI agents and next-generation UI components that facilitate seamless human-agent interaction and effective in-the-flow learning. Working closely with other team members, you will deliver high-quality, testable features across full-stack surfaces that power the productivity of all Googlers. This is a unique opportunity to expand your expertise while helping transition Google's work paradigm from manual task execution to agentic orchestration.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $138000 - $198000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefitsLearn more about benefits at Google.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning (AI/ML).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience in product management.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate defined product goals in a way that captures attention and compels others to drive action despite obstacles and engaged priorities.
  • Lead the building and enhancements of core features of Google's primary agentic learning tools ensuring the platform is reliable, high-performing, and intuitive for hundreds of thousands of Googlers.
  • Contribute to the development of AI agents and next-generation UI components, enabling agents to present rich, interactive, and contextual learning in the flow of work.
  • Identify and prioritize key opportunities for delivering learning to all Googlers.
  • Drive launches, graduations, partnerships, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
