Senior Data Scientist/Research Economist

This role is based in London, UK.

Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct research on the economic impacts of AI technologies.
• Develop new conceptual frameworks and taxonomies for AI product engagement.
• Communicate research findings through publications and presentations.
• Build strategic partnerships with academic and policy bodies.
• Collaborate with various teams within Google to support product strategy.

Minimum qualifications:

• Master's degree in Economics or related field.
• 4 years of experience in analytics and economic research.

Preferred qualifications:

• PhD in Economics or related field.
• 6 years of experience in analytics and economic research.
• Experience with innovative analyses and large datasets.
• Familiarity with AI tools and ability to communicate complex analyses.
