As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program or project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in an engineering or program management role involving multi-disciplinary fields such as network, fiber, electrical, or mechanical (cooling).
- Experience working on defining and designing data center infrastructure.
- Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a data-driven problem-solving approach to solving complex challenges.
Responsibilities
- Partner with network architects and deployment engineers to ultimately translate physical demands of the network (space, power, fiber) to requirements of building designs.
- Work closely with design engineering firms, construction contractors, and other partner teams to develop solutions that can be deployed to support Google’s global network.
- Present to executive leadership design and cost options to solve problems of the Google network.
- Guide complex programs reaching beyond your immediate organization.
- Work with vendors (e.g., racks, rack pdus, network equipment vendors, power/cooling vendors) to define how they develop new products to ensure they are deployable for Google globally.
