Senior Software Engineer, Android, Auto Developer Platforms

This role is based in Kraków, Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the architecture and development of the Car App Library, a cross platform environment to build automotive applications.
• Build understanding and expertise on automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and app developer needs.
• Define and use metrics to validate the impact of the work you do.
• Collaborate closely with other disciplines, internal partners such as core Android and external ones such as our automotive manufacturer partners.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in Kotlin.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in developing accessible technologies.
