This role is based in Mountain View, CA, with opportunities in Cambridge, MA, and San Francisco, CA.
Compensation:
$174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Drive projects end-to-end that improve systems and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-platform teams to advance the roadmap.
- Evolve and maintain infrastructure and APIs for Google Photos.
- Ensure compatibility and functionality of media integrations with OEMs.
- Promote adoption of framework changes across various engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of software development experience in Java or Kotlin.
- 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- 3 years of experience in Android application development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in performance analysis and debugging.
- 1 year in a technical leadership role.
