This role is based in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Own assigned functional areas.
  • Understand guest (virtualized) and host (hypervisor) environments and develop secure solutions that connect both.
  • Develop code in C++.
  • Collaborate with peers to identify, design, create and optimize software features that run on Google's hardware stack.
  • Lead the design and development of infrastructure to automatically measure and detect regressions in key performance metrics at scale.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of work experience in software development.
  • 5 years of coding experience in one or more of the following languages: C++, C, or Rust.
  • 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects.
  • Experience in concurrency, multithreading and synchronization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Linux Internals, Kernel, Virtualization, C++.
